A moment to read ones own book with not just one story,
A book that writes of our glory.
A moment to know our light and how to keep it sparkling
A moment to remember the fight we fought, and the ones we didn't fight that we should have fought.
A moment with bags under eyes, to remember all the goodbyes
A moment with burdens of thought
A moment of introspection, to show oneself some affection.

The centerpiece of the artwork is canvas on a board carved in irregular shape which symbolizes difficult emotions sparking the need for self-reflection and also acts as a metaphorical portal into one's inner world depicting swirling emotions. To give viewers an extra physical one on one experience when they approach the artwork, and be confronted with their own reflection, prompting them to confront their own thoughts, emotions, and experiences.

Around the centered shaped board are abstract patterns that represent different aspects of the self, and the interconnectedness of various aspects of life. Capturing the complexity of human feelings.
