Today is Children’s Day.

A day meant to celebrate laughter, innocence, dreams, and the future of our children.

But somewhere in Nigeria tonight, some parents are not celebrating.

Some mothers are crying.
Some fathers are praying.
Some beds are empty.

46 children kidnapped.
46 innocent lives interrupted.
46 families living in fear and pain.

Children who should be in classrooms…
Children who should be playing, learning, dreaming, and feeling safe.

No child deserves to grow up in fear.
No parent deserves this nightmare.

As we celebrate Children’s Day today, may we not ignore the pain of families whose children are still missing.

May we speak up.
May we demand action.
May we protect our children.
May we never become numb to tragedy.

Their lives matter.
Their future matters.

Bring them home.
