⚠️ Important Notice About Android Car Radio Screens ⚠️

Parking your car under direct sunlight for 2 to 4 hours can affect your Android Radio screen because of excessive heat inside the vehicle.

Common problems caused by heat include: • Screen fading or going blank
• Touch screen not responding
• Android Radio freezing or stopping completely
• Slow performance or automatic shutdown

To help protect your Android Radio screen, we advise customers to:

✅ Cover the screen with a dry towel, handkerchief, or soft cloth when parking under the sun.
✅ Try to park in a shaded area whenever possible.

On the if all the factory radio functions are working perfectly — screen display, reverse camera, touch control, Bluetooth, navigation, AC display — but there is no sound output, the problem is usually from one of these areas:

Factory Amplifier fault

The LX 570 uses a separate amplifier.

Once the amplifier stops working, every function can still display normally but no audio will come out from the speakers.

Amplifier power supply issue

Blown fuse

Weak ground connection

No ACC power reaching the amplifier

MOST fiber optic communication problem

Lexus premium systems use fiber optic cables between the radio and amplifier.

If the fiber loop is broken or disconnected, audio will stop completely.

Audio IC problem inside the factory radio

The screen and controls may work but the sound processor/audio section inside the radio can fail.

Muted amplifier due to software or CAN communication fault

Sometimes after battery issues or electrical repairs, the amplifier stays muted electronically.

Water or moisture damage

On some LX 570 models, moisture under the seat can damage the factory amplifier.

First Things to Check:

Check RADIO/AMP fuse

Restart the vehicle battery for 10 minutes

Check if amplifier is receiving power

Scan the audio system with diagnostic tool

Inspect fiber optic cable light signal

In many cases on the 2016 LX 570, the main issue is either:

Factory amplifier failure or

Audio section fault inside the factory radio unit.
