Our customers are basically the tertiary institutions - Teaching Hospitals, Federal Medical Centres, General Hospitals, Private Hospitals and Private Organisations who through their CSR (Corporate Social Responsibility), have partnered with us to provide Renal Care to their immediate communities. We also promote and manage an ultramodern Dialysis training centre in Ikeja, Lagos. In addition to this, we are presently providing Turn-key and management services to MTN Foundation (MTNF) for its dialysis centers spread throughout the geo-political regions of the country. ADCEM/FRESENIUS also won the subcontract for the VAMED project to equip fourteen teaching hospitals with dialysis machines and comprehensive water treatment systems. Our long-term involvement in many aspects of renal replacement therapy including haemodialysis (HD) and peritoneal dialysis (PD), has provided us with a unique opportunity to develop close relationships with clinical teams and patients. Adcem was initially incorporated as Adcem Pharmaceuticals Ltd, a limited liability company in 1992 providing Renal Care products for over 20 years. We have been delivering quality Fresenius Dialysis machines and consumables, vascular access products from Medcom and to provide continuous training and education for customer-institution’s personnel. Over the years, the company has realized that it had had to go a little further than the sales and services of its products, to providing a high level of support services like Renal Care Consultancy, innovative solutions to peculiar problems and to generally be in the forefront to improving Renal Care services in the country. The company has been a pioneer in the provision of Dialysis in the country and has since not lost its pioneering efforts even in the area of technological advancement. As the sole representatives of Fresenius Medical care of Germany, we typify Fresenius’ decades of experience in dialysis, innovative research and global leadership in dialysis services and products, in Nigeria. Recently, Adcem Pharmaceuticals Ltd gave birth to Adcem Healthcare Ltd, a move aimed at consolidating the Renal Care service delivery of the company. Since the company had metamorphosised from being a dialysis machines and consumables supply company to the provision of a complete renal care therapy provider, Adcem Healthcare was created to take over from Adcem Pharmaceuticals. Adcem pharmaceuticals on the other hand, is to move on to concentrate on the provision of specialized pharmaceutical drugs like Parental Nutrition, Blood Expanders and cancer and other specialized medications along with the vascular access implements. Patients with Chronic Kidney disease (CKD) can now look ahead with much more confidence thanks to Adcem’s innovative technologies and treatment concepts.
