JOB OPENING
POSITION: BOOKKEEPER (FULL TIME)

Company Location: Pwan Max Property Business Solutions Ltd, Sangotedo, Lekki/Ajah, Lagos State.

We are looking for a skilled Bookkeeper to maintain our financial records, including purchases, sales, receipts and payments.

The Bookkeeper's job duties will include working closely with our Accounting team to create and analyze financial reports and ensure legal requirements compliance, process accounts payable and receivable and manage invoices and tax payments.

QUALIFICATION & RENUMERATION
* Hnd holder in accounts or Finance or relevant related degree with at least 2 years’ experience as an Bookkeeper
*Additional certification is a plus or its equivalent in an accredited institution.
* A Post-Graduate degree is an added advantage
* Salary range: Competitive industrial remuneration in the region of N100k.

REQUIREMENTS
- Proven bookkeeping experience
- Solid understanding of basic bookkeeping and accounting payable/receivable principles
- Proven ability to calculate, post and manage accounting figures and financial records
- Data entry skills along with a knack for numbers
- Hands-on experience with spreadsheets and proprietary software
- Proficiency in English and in MS Office
- Customer service orientation and negotiation skills
- High degree of accuracy and attention to detail.

RESPONSIBILITIES
- Responsible for recording and maintaining financial transactions of our business, such as purchases, expenses, sales revenue, invoices, and payments.
- He/she will record financial data into general ledgers, which are used to produce the balance sheet and income statement.
- Reconciliation of entries into the accounting system.
- Recording of debits and credits.
- Maintain the trial balance, by a reconciliation of general ledgers and
Account reconciliation to assert the accuracy of transactions.
- Use knowledge of local laws to comply with reporting requirements
- Monitor any variances from the projected budget
- Recording day to day financial transactions and completing the posting process
- Verifying that transactions are recorded in the correct day book, suppliers ledger, customer ledger and general ledger
Bringing the books to the trial balance stage
- Complete tax forms
- Enter data, maintain records and create reports and financial statements.
- Process accounts receivable/payable
- Handle payroll in a timely manner
