She doesn’t ask for permission.

You can see it in the mother birthing in the hallway, the body bearing down with primal power, the baby emerging into the world without “help,” without “control,” without anyone directing her.

This is the untamed truth of birth:
the uterus knows.

It contracts, it releases, it expels with or without assistance, with or without approval.
