Transforming Lives
THE POWER YOU SEE IS THE PERSON YOU KNOW
One of the greatest secrets in the Kingdom of God is this:
The demonstration of God’s power in your life is proportional to the revelation of God’s personality you have caught.
You cannot consistently manifest what you do not truly know.
Many believers want the power of God, but few pursue the Person of God.
It is possible to shout “Fire!” and still be spiritually cold.
It is possible to attend night vigils and still have a blurry picture of who God really is.
In the Bible, when God introduced Himself to Abraham in Genesis 17:1, He didn’t say, “I am the God of small favors.”
He said, “I am El-Shaddai” — the Almighty God.
That revelation changed everything.
When Abraham caught the revelation of God as Almighty, his faith for the impossible rose.
Power followed personality.
When God revealed Himself to Moses in Exodus 3:14 as “I AM THAT I AM,” He was saying:
“I am not limited. I am not defined by circumstances. I am Being itself.”
After that encounter, Moses confronted Pharaoh.
Revelation produced boldness. Boldness unlocked demonstration.
The disciples walked with Jesus for years, but their power level changed drastically after they caught a deeper revelation of who He truly was.
In Matthew 16:16, Peter said, “Thou art the Christ, the Son of the living God.”
Jesus responded by speaking of authority and keys.
Revelation triggered authorization.
Let’s be honest — some of us relate to God like He is a distant government official. We only approach Him with long files of complaints and prayer requests. No wonder our spiritual lives feel bureaucratic.
But when you truly see Him as:
Father — fear reduces.
Shepherd — anxiety calms.
King — loyalty increases.
Healer — faith for health rises.
Provider — panic about money decreases.
You cannot experience Jehovah Rapha if you only know Him as Judge.
You cannot walk in supernatural supply if you only see Him as Taskmaster.
Your experience with God will rarely exceed your understanding of God.
In Daniel 11:32, the Bible says:
“The people that do know their God shall be strong, and do exploits.”
Notice the sequence:
Know → Be Strong → Do Exploits.
Not:
Fast → Shout → Struggle → Wonder why nothing happened.
Exploits are the natural consequence of intimacy.
Power is not a random spiritual lightning strike. It is the overflow of relationship.
If you see God as small, your faith will be small.
If you see Him as unpredictable and harsh, your prayer life will be nervous.
If you see Him as loving and mighty, your obedience will be joyful and your confidence unshakable.
A child who knows his father owns the house does not beg to enter the living room.
He walks in.
Catch the revelation of God’s heart, and you will see the manifestation of God’s hand.
Many are praying for more power.
Maybe what you really need is clearer sight.
Because when you truly know Him, strength becomes natural.
And when strength becomes natural, exploits become inevitable.
May God not just show you His acts — may He reveal His ways.
For when you know His personality, His power will no longer intimidate you… it will operate through you.
