Sometime ago, a friend told me about how a couple would always visit the neighborhood about 2 times in a day. She said they would go round, ask questions, be on the call for a long time before leaving.

Eventually, the couple moved to the neighborhood...then it dawned on her that they were on a fact - finding mission before making payment for the property.

This helps a lot! It will help you in making final decisions before making payment.

Did this help?

Will you be trying this before making the next decision to buy/ rent a property?

Often times, I get asked this question from a lot of my clients......

Either you decide to buy or to rent is a big decision anyone can ever take..

I have never given anyone a definite answer because there's a lot more involved before taking the decision of whether to buy or to rent.

A few things you need to consider before making the decision are;
• Your income..
• Future plans..
• Your lifestyle needs...etc

In terms of price, there are different costs associated with buying vs renting. For example, it depends heavily on location of such property. Your income will help you make a "firmer" decision on which option to choose.

Future plans involves if you intend to get married or expand your family in the nearest future...this usually requires a lot of space or more space. So it's important that you put this into consideration as well.

Also, consider what you want to use the property for...either for personal or commercial use...

So, you see why I say that there's really no definite answer or advise to give. The choice of whether to buy or to rent is solely dependent on these and more factors.
