Green p**p in infants can be alarming, but it is usually not a sign of anything to worry about.

Many things can cause a green p**p like foods containing green dye, iron supplements, dark green leafy vegetables, and diarrhea, which is often the cause of green stools in infants.

The bottom line is, a diaper full of green stool usually isn’t something to worry about, especially if you know your baby just ate something dark green or is recovering well from a stomach infection. All you need to do is keep your baby hydrated and make sure they’re not having other problems.
