Last week, my office visited six schools as part of a grassroots civic education initiative aimed at educating children on their rights within Lagos State with a strong focus on domestic violence awareness and child protection.

As the videographer for this outreach, I had the responsibility of documenting not just the activities, but the conversations, reactions, and understanding being built among these young minds. Moments like this remind me that visual storytelling goes beyond aesthetics, it preserves impact, intention, and social change.

This engagement reinforced the importance of taking governance, education, and awareness directly to the grassroots, especially to children who need to know their rights, their voice, and where to seek help.
