French doesnโt think the way English does!
You say:
๐ I am fine.
French says:
๐ Je vais bien. (I am going fine literally!)
In English you say:
๐ I am 20 years old.
But in French?
๐ Jโai 20 ans. (I have 10 years. It's good to know you aren't your age, you only have it! ๐)
And donโt even get started on:
โ Je suis chaud (I am hotโฆ ๐ณ awkward!)
โ Jโai chaud (Iโm hot as in temperature!)
Many English speakers mix up these two verbs all the time.
