I remember when I used to say “just one more order.” I felt it was a taboo to turn down money, money I desperately needed, even if it meant over-promising and under-delivering. In the end, it cost me way more than what I charged.

“I’ve cut it sir…”
“We’re working on it…”
Meanwhile, the outfit is still sitting comfortably in the same cupboard you kept it the day the client dropped it. And now they’re on their way to pick it up. 😭

You don’t want to disappoint clients, but guess what? You will if you keep overpromising.
You don’t want to turn down your friend… or you’re thinking, “Let me just collect more money.”
But that’s exactly how everything comes crashing down quickly.

Pace yourself.
Don’t spread yourself thin and crash later.
Plan. Organize. Schedule your orders.
