Working as a house officer in the newborn unit meant
Giving 20mls of medication with a 2mls syringe (that's 10cycles)
Giving every medication SLOWLY because of their yet fragile veins.
Even when the medications are hours apart, you still find yourself coming back to give the next dose almost as soon as you left.
It also meant serious level of PATIENCE. Because doing otherwise is risky.
You may not be in the neonatal unit, but you NEED to be patient with yourself, your business, your friends and family, your job, and life in general.
If you've "lost it" with your job, and you're considering walking away soon, and facing your business, never leave your job without having an email list.

Sometimes, as a small business owner, it's easy to get so busy with all the hassle... content creation, Dm marketing,  networking, etc, and we forget to put eye in the one thing that matters the most. 

OUR AUDIENCE. 

When I started my blog, the audience I had in mind was ladies who want to grow healthy hair. That included both ladies on afro, relaxed hair, locs, etc. I found myself talking more about relaxed hair, because, that's what I have, and I'm used to taking care of.

Meanwhile, I was still pitching the brand to be for ladies with all hair types.

Growth was slow, My said audience were not relating with what I was saying. I had a long thought about it, and decided to review my audience.

I narrowed down to ladies with relaxed hair only, who need their hair to be healthy. I stopped using the previous general hashtags, researched for new ones strictly for relaxed hair ladies.

I saw a transformation.  My tribe started coming to me. They will read a story on the blog or Instagram page and be like, yea, that's so me, and all. I knew I had hit it 🙌.

So, just saying that your business is serving women is not enough.  (Of course, many SBO's have jumped on the women empowerment band wagon).
You need to specify too... which type of women? Age, marital status, etc.

Keep breaking it down till you hit it.
