One of the questions people ask me on solar energy installation is if this solar thing really works? I understand the mindset I had when I first experienced "solar inverter" you remember I told you how I went to one of my friend's house who installed one some years ago and how the thing was unable to serve her. Why? She actually install an inverter not solar energy. Inverter installation is when you put batteries and UPs inverter in the house and pray hard for NEPA to bring light so it will charge.

If you have the mindset of inverter installation then you might ask the question: How long does it? Does it really last?

Inverter installation never allows your mind to rest because it must go off any time the battery is drained. Solar energy installation, on the other hand, allows your mind to be at rest because as long as the sunlight or daylight is there then you MUST have light. This is guaranteed electricity.

The next question that will follow is so what capacity should I go for?

I tell everyone who is single to go for 1kv. It will power your TV and fan, light bulbs, laptops and phone from morning till night. That's if you work from home. But if you go to work every day and come back in the evening then it will even be better because the solar system will charge your batteries which can carry you till you leave for work the next day. I assure that the generator will not disturb you again in your sleep.

How about a family plan? I say 1kva can be managed by a family on a low budget but I do encourage 2.5kva. It is perfect for families. Even though I will make more money when you install bigger capacity but I do encourage clients to try the lowest capacity because you are not going off-grid? You still get 5 to 10 hours of electricity per day so you don't need a big installation. What you need is constant electricity. Don't you?

What is the difference between solar energy and an inverter system?

Since we started the solar electricity business, few new clients have asked us to install only an inverter for them. My answer is always NO. Why? Because inverter is very unreliable. When you put an inverter (which is only inverter system and battery), then you have wasted your money on the idea of alternative energy supply.

The reason many prefer inverter is that the first people to start this business of solar installation didn’t put the solar panels. They give the customers an inverter system, whereas the cost of having solar panels included is almost equivalent to having only an inverter. Another reason why I strongly discourage only inverter installation is you will need NEPA light or generator every day to keep your inverter running.

Solar electricity is the best. No light. No problem. No generator. No problem! The solar panels supply electricity through daylight and sunlight every blessed day to your home. You can comfortably disconnect NEPA and sell your generator when you have solar power in your home. No long story.
