Once you decide to double down on your goals and aim to become more productive there is almost a certain possibility that you'll come across this statement

"𝑩𝒆 𝒊𝒏𝒕𝒆𝒏𝒕𝒊𝒐𝒏𝒂𝒍 𝒂𝒃𝒐𝒖𝒕 𝒚𝒐𝒖𝒓 𝒈𝒓𝒐𝒘𝒕𝒉".

Think of it this way, when you leave your house for a certain destination, either by walking, driving or riding on a bus, whichever means you decide to use will be the one taking you to your destination, right?

Even if there are many routes to your destination you have to take one and focus on it.

It is similar to growth, you should have a target or goal and trust me there is no shortage of "routes" to that goal, but trying to follow them all is a recipe for disaster.

Being intentional is just as important when it comes to the number of different materials or information you try to consume at once.

The Internet especially social media is filled with many "valuable" posts and content but if you are not careful you will be consuming so much info to the point of being confused and you will be wasting precious time needlessly.

This is where intentionality comes in. When using social media be intentional, make sure you have what you are there for clearly in mind, then be laser-focused and get it done then leave immediately after you're through.

This will

1. Help you get things done quickly and on time. There will be no time for aimless scrolling and more time could be dedicated to more profitable tasks.

2. There is an axiom that says: "𝑻𝑶𝑶 𝑴𝑨𝑵𝒀 𝑪𝑶𝑶𝑲𝑺 𝑺𝑷𝑶𝑰𝑳𝑺 𝑻𝑯𝑬 𝑩𝑹𝑶𝑻𝑯". When you consume only relevant materials to your goal, then you will also have a clear, focused mind on that goal and get it done without too many distractions. Don't consume too much, consume just enough.

3. You will not become demoralized due to the quantity of information coming at you, better still, there will be a considerable amount of results empowering you to do more.

Facebook, for example, has settings where you can schedule how much time you intend to spend on it every day, the time window your Facebook account can be accessed e.t.c. What is more, you can even monitor your spent time weekly. It is called the "QUIET MODE". I've been using it for a while now and it has been awesome. My average weekly time spent on Facebook is about 12-15 minutes.

You can also time yourself on other apps that don't offer such settings so that you can concentrate fully on worthwhile activities.

Take advantage of tools like these and make the best use of your time.

𝗪𝗛𝗔𝗧 𝗜𝗦 𝗔𝗙𝗙𝗜𝗟𝗜𝗔𝗧𝗘 𝗠𝗔𝗥𝗞𝗘𝗧𝗜𝗡𝗚?

Affiliate Marketing is a trillion dollars industry and has been around for decades.

Sadly, some individuals still have the wrong concept of what Affiliate Marketing actually is.

A simple "What is Affiliate Marketing" search on google would have done so much good, but we aren't prepared for that conversation.

Plus that is not what this post is about.

Let's discuss a few points on what Affiliate Marketing is and what it is not.

We begin with what Affiliate Marketing is not.

𝙒𝙝𝙖𝙩 𝘼𝙛𝙛𝙞𝙡𝙞𝙖𝙩𝙚 𝙈𝙖𝙧𝙠𝙚𝙩𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙄𝙨 𝙉𝙤𝙩

👉Affiliate Marketing is not the same as MLM.
MLM (Multi-Level Marketing or Network Marketing) is a form of marketing that mandates you to network or connect with people for you to grow. However, as an affiliate marketer, you are required to sell a product or a service. So, whether someone joins you or not doesn't determine your success.

👉 Affiliate Marketing is not a get-rich-quick scheme.
If you aim to become an affiliate marketer today and become rich the next day, you would be utterly disappointed. Like every business, it requires time, time for you to learn and implement then you scale and the amount of time needed is solely dependent on the amount of time you're ready to invest in learning and implementing.

👉 Affiliate Marketing would NEVER crash.
Some believe that Affiliate Marketing would crash someday, but how can a business model that is founded on the needs of humans crash? Such fears or concerns are for those who haven't understood what the business is about.

𝙒𝙝𝙖𝙩 𝘼𝙛𝙛𝙞𝙡𝙞𝙖𝙩𝙚 𝙈𝙖𝙧𝙠𝙚𝙩𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙄𝙨

👉 Affiliate Marketing is a business.
Think of Affiliate Marketing as providing solutions to people's problems and getting paid at the same time. Everyone does this but not all get paid.

👉 Affiliate Marketing is a school.
Those who learn a trade or are under business training spend several years to become proficient at it, Affiliate Marketing is no different. As you study to become an Affiliate Marketer, there are a couple of other courses you would need to learn, at least the basics.

👉 Affiliate Marketing is both offline and online.
Many people imagine Affiliate Marketing is purely an online business, but no. While being an online affiliate marketer offers much freedom and more money, there are many offline affiliate marketers. Just go to any major market or bus park, there is no shortage of them there.
