Isolo Councillors Celebrate Party Chairman, Barr. Gani Bello On Birthday

The councillors representing Ilasamaja, Okota, Ishagatedo/Ire-Akari, Alagbeji, Akinbaiye, Apena and Ajao Estate Wards in Isolo LCDA have sent their compliments to APC Chairman in Isolo LCDA, Barrister Gani Bello on his birth renewal today.

In a release signed by the Leader of the House, Hon. Akeem Adeyemi Alarape, the councillors commended the symbol of the party in Isolo LCDA for his astuteness, industriousness and uncommon progressive leadership in piloting the affairs of the All Progressives Congress in the council which has earned him the stature of 'political enigma'.

The Legislative Arm further eulogized the elder statesman for fostering unity and harmony within the ranks and files of the party and how his ingenuity, intellectualism and political sagacity have been pivotal in strengthen the progressive party with the instilling of discipline, progressive norms within the party.

"We rejoice with our dynamic, vibrant and articulate party leader who is the symbol of the All Progressives Congress in Isolo LCDA.

“His uncommon wisdom, political maturity as a veteran and in-depth understanding of the progressive ethos have been instrumental to the great and functional All Progressives Congress in Isolo LCDA,” the statement read partly.

The Grassroots Lawmakers prayed that God continues to guide, protect and give him a sound health for more impact in building a strong party in Isolo LCDA.

"On the auspicious occasion of his birth anniversary celebration today, we wish our 'Political Barrister' the sound health, wealth and wisdom to keep living a fulfilling life," the statement concluded.

LENT: LET'S EMULATE CHRIST, FAST AND PRAY FOR SPIRITUAL CLEANSING, UPLIFTMENT

The Legislative Arm of Isolo LCDA has implored the Christians within the council area and the world at large to fast and pray for spiritual cleansing and upliftment.

In a message signed by the council leader, Hon.Akeem Adeyemi Alarape on Ash Wednesday which marks the beginning of the Christians 40 days fasting said the moments should be used to seek the face of God for intervention and direction over the affairs of the country.

He noted that as both the Muslims and Christians are observing spiritual exercise of renewal and maintaining closed relationships with God symbolizes that God is one and we must together seek his face for help for our dear nation, state and local community.

His words, "As we begin this scared Lenten season with Ash Wednesday signalling the beginning of the Christians fasting, let us use this special moments of biblical injunction to pray and renewed our community to God.

"We must realize that this special period coinciding with the Ramadan is to awaken the spiritual consciousness in everyone to come together and seek the face of God over the our lives, families, country and community in prayer.

“May this special season of spiritual upliftment be made manifest in every aspect of our lives as a community and people,” the statement read.

ISOLO COUNCILLORS SEND 70 HEARTY TO CHIEF MRS. ADETOUN AGNES AJOMALE

The leadership and members of the 5th legislative Council of Isolo LCDA have joined family, friends, political associates and other numerous well-wishers to celebrate Chief Mrs. Adetoun Agnes Ajomale as she joined the Septuagenarian club today.

The leader of the legislative arm, Hon. Akeem Adeyemi Alarape, in a goodwill message released this morning, described Mama Ajomale as a great mother, pillar of support for the progressive family and a nation-builder whose contributions have significantly impacted the development of Isolo LCDA and Lagos at large.

He salutes the latest Septuagenarian for her wise counsel, support and role in fostering unity and harmony within the ranks and files of the progressives in Isolo and Lagos as at large.

In his words, "With hearts filled with unspeakable joy, we rejoice with our matriarch, pillar of the support system and the golden mother of Isolo LCDA on the attainment of 70 years on earth.

"This is a special day in the life of our mother which symbolises a milestone journey of selflessness, dedication, support and service to humanity as evident in her immense contributions to the betterment of our dear council area, state and the nation at large,'

Alarape concluded by wishing the Mother-General of Isolo LCDA Progressives Political family many more years of celebration in strength, wisdom, perfect health and of service to humanity.

"On behalf of the entire legislative Council of Isolo LCDA, I wish our Mother-General perfect and sound health, wisdom and require strength for continued service to our dear council area and Lagos as a key symbol of leadership in COWSL0.
May the remaining years be filled with renewed vigour, accomplishments and prosperity," the statement concluded.
