Farming is so essential, it creates opportunities to lift people out of poverty in developing nations. Farming creates jobs, beginning with farmers, and continuing with farm equipment makers, food processing plants, transportation, infrastructure and manufacturing.

However, managing the decision-making processes of farming has always been complex because there are so many different limiting factors that aren’t within a farmer’s control. For instance, schools and education, the weather, technology, policies, security etc.

It is somewhat gratifying to learn that schools still expose children and young people to the benefits of farming.
