*HOW TO IDENTIFY ADULTERATED PALM OIL*

Hint 1: SMELL

It is usually quite difficult to distinguish between pure Palm Oil and adulterated palm oil. The most obvious reason is that, whenever we go to markets to purchase palm oil, we're always in a hurry and therefore not patient enough to detect some of these signs.

The SMELL of unadulterated palm oil can be a direct giveaway. If you've never eaten palm fruit before, you might not really get this point. In order to identify the smell of adulterated palm oil, you'll first need to know what the original/pure palm oil smells like.

Pure Red Palm Oil smells fresh, much like overripe mushrooms. Another way to describe it would be the smell of boiled palmfruits. The pungent of this smell depends on the specie and method of processing.

Adulterated Palm oil on the other hand smells dull/ bland/ foul, it can also have a chemical like smell. But this smell test can also be misleading as there are machines that can be used to remove smell from Oil!...(to be contd.)

In the meantime, have you noticed that it's only Bynada Palm Oil that has not yet increased in price this season? Get yours today.
