✍️ The Help From God. ✍️

The horse is prepared against the day of battle: but safety is of the Lord.– Prov. 21:31 (KJV).

There was a man who had a job interview to attend on a Monday morning. He prepared all day and night for that job interview.

Formally, he used to engage himself with the services of God. He spent time studying God's word and praying but when the job interview came up, he stopped.

He had a week to prepare. That is for a whole week, he didn't do his daily routine of word studying and praying.

God was watching him from his throne in heaven.

Even on the Sunday- a day before the interview day, he refused to attend church service.

On the day of the interview he fell sick. He was terribly sick to the extent that he couldn't even stand from his bed without being assisted.

He wept and wept and called on God to help him out.

Unfortunately, the interview came to an end without him attending and he lost the opportunity.



After all these things he went through, he missed the job opportunity and God has not changed. He is still God and still on his throne.

Most times, we think we have enough to sustain us that we do not need the help of God.

The mistake a lot of us make, is to trust our human understanding. We can avoid all this impending chaos if only we allowed God to take his rightful position in those situations.

God is an Almighty God. He wouldn't want to be silenced or kept aside. He wants to take all the glory in our situations. He deserve it.

It is not of him that willeth nor of him that doeth but it is of the Lord that showeth mercy.

Only God can guarantee your safety in any situation. You cannot do it by yourself and see effective results. You need the help of God.

May God help us.
