If you struggled to learn anything substantial on your own this year, try out my idea on collaborative learning and application in the coming year.

Get together two or three of your friends.Ensure the number is not too large.
Ask them if they will be interested in learning XYZ and sell the big dream to them.

Be sure they are interested and highly motivated like yourself.This is a key factor.

Preferably, the skill should be a digital skill that can transform everyone's life or finance.

When you're all on the same page in terms of interest and motivation.

It's time to set the ball rolling.

Look for great courses and trainings that can deliver the knowledge and skillsets you need.

When you find the courses,ensure everyone has a stake in it's purchase.

For example if the course is 25k,everyone should contribute to get it.

But this is when it gets more interesting.

Fix a time and date when you all come together to review each module or lessons.
Practice what you've learnt,share idea and rub minds on the content of the course.

These acts reinforces learning and helps the knowledge sticks.

When you're done with the course.It's time to launch out together leveraging on one another skills and knowledge from the course.

For example, let's assume the course is on Local Arbitrage which is a business model where you source and buy stuffs cheaply from wholesalers and resell online for high profit margin by targeting more buyers with paid ads.

It's time for division of labour

One of you may concentrate on researching hot-selling products, sourcing for wholesalers and closing deals with them to supply you products when you get a buyer.

Another person may concentrate on designing the sales funnel and landing pages for the products.

The last person may only be concerned with how to run a profitable Facebook ads to sell the products.

You get the gist, right?

Everyone now returns to the content of the course and solely concentrate on particular area of the course.

When you're certain everyone knows their job well,you can go ahead to jointly contribute for ads,domain name,hosting,plugins and other cost that are needed to setup the business online.

Run it together for awhile and seek help when you hit a brick.

This approach will help you get the better returns from your investments on courses and trainings in the coming year.

You don't even have to wait till next year to get started.

How I closed a 100k Deal in 30Minutes on a Monday Morning😁

For the records.

One of my side hustle is academic paper writing and publishing.

It increases your chances of gaining international scholarships and also landing a lecturing job.

Basically,it gives you a competitive edge above others.

Four days ago, a client whose paper was just published contacted me that her colleague is also interested in publishing a paper for application to grad school.

I asked her to send me his number.

So, I chatted him up.

For the past few days we've been going back and forth on questions upon questions.

He needed alot of clarifications and I suddenly realized the voicenotes and messages were not doing justice to the deal.

I had to change the tactics and decided to give him a call.

In 30 minutes of our discussion,I answered all his concerns and cleared his doubts.

He concluded with I'm in.

Deal sealed.

Vital Lessons:

In closing high ticket deals don't rely only on text and voicenotes.

Go further with video calls or voice calls.

Give your clients the opportunity to speak so you can get all the details of what they want or their concerns and provide the needed clarity.

Exhude confidence and knowledge of your craft.

Phone closing is powerful.

Don't joke with them.

This regular and predictable income is the luxury many enterpreneurs don't have.

For an enterpreneur,sometimes the sales are high,sometimes the sales are low.

Whatever happens,their employees have to be paid the agreed salary per month.

2. Ensures Work-Life Balance

If you think being an entrepreneur means you have more free time, you are in for some real shock.

Many enterpreneurs works longer and harder than their employees.

While the employee can stop thinking about work at the close of business activity.

Many entrepreneurs work and think round the clock to keep the business afloat.

However, a job provides you with a more structured life. You will be required to work a set number of hours a day.

You can then spend that time doing what you genuinely enjoy and gives you satisfaction.

These are great benefits of working a 9-to-5

Although many employees are trapped in jobs where they earn less than they worth.

For such employees, starting a digital side hustle can help increase their income else they can request for an increment or go get another job.

So before you let yourself become influenced by society to sack your boss remember the luxuries of having a job that many enterpreneurs only dream about.

Divide it by the number of times you work per month.

How much do you have?

Let's take it a step further

Divide your answer by the number of hours you clock per day

How much do you have?

Ok! Let's do the calculation together.

Imagine you earn N 100,000 per month.

Let's assume you work from Monday to Friday,

In one month you will work for 20days.

So,your daily income will be:

N 100,000/20=N5 ,000

Let's calculate your hourly rate;

Assuming you work from 8 a.m to 4p.m

Your hourly rate will be:

N5000/8= N 625

This means for every 60 minutes you spend on your job,your worth is N625

Before you start jubilating that your daily income is 5k.

Don't forget to deduct what you spend on transportation to and fro work,feeding and other daily expenses from it.

How much are you left with?

Can you save and invest it for any financial freedom if you plan to retire young?

I doubt.

That's the reality of many workers in paid employment.

What about those who don't earn up to 100k per month😭😭😭

Truth be told,you cannot survive like this without extra income streams.

Your job is powerless to give you the financial freedom you yearn.
