Breaking News: Ambazonia forces in Muyuka have reportedly displayed weapons allegedly seized during last night’s attack against Cameroon military elements.

In the footage circulating online, the fighters openly mocked the local administration, saying the promises made last week by the D.O and other Cameroon authorities in Muyuka have already collapsed “overnight.”

The administration had reportedly announced that indigenes would soon resume payment of electricity bills and fully submit to government authority. But according to the Ambazonia forces, those declarations were nothing more than “empty speeches made behind microphones while reality on the ground says otherwise.”

The fighters insisted that civilians under their control will not obey what they describe as “colonial administrators,” adding that they would continue protecting local communities and resisting any attempt to force compliance with Yaoundé’s directives.

Critics online are already mocking the administration, saying officials keep making bold declarations during the daytime, only for armed groups to “rewrite the story before sunrise.” Others described the situation as another embarrassing blow to authorities struggling to convince the population that stability has returned to Muyuka.

The video footage is dated 17th May 2026.
