Happy 71st birthday Mummy.
My first parenting coach. From the time I started thinking of marriage and raising children, I had already penned down in my mind some of the strategies she had used raising my siblings and I as tools I would use.

So, I saw this post and it made me laugh. She isn't finding it funny though.
What I can see here is a disruption of order. She is probably used to dresses with sleeves. As beautiful as the dress is, it's not what she is used to.
Children go through a period in their lives when they are sensitive to order and any thing that disrupts that order can lead to a meltdown.
