PRAYER POINTS FOR OPEN HEAVENS 21 JANUARY 2022

Beloved, thank you for joining us today. Please, say these prayers in faith and believe God for a performance.

Father, in anyway I have fallen short of your glory, please, have mercy and forgive me; let Your mercy prevail over any judgement of sin in my life, in Jesus name.

Father I thank You that I can call upon Your name any day, any time, any where and you answer me.

Father I thank You the spirit of sonship. Thank You that I was made in Your image, and likeness and You keep me keeping me.

Father I thank You for Your grace and mercy that always speaks for me.

Out of the depths of my spirit I lift up my praise to the God of all flesh.

Lord I ask that you forgive me for all the times I have not shown forth Your grace and glory. Forgive me Lord and cleanse me from all unrighteousness in Jesus name.

Father today I bring before You my family (mention the names of your immediate family). Lord I ask that you preserve us from evil in Jesus name.

Father, our mind is stayed on you, grant us peace like a river in the name of Jesus.

Let our peace be perfect and unchanging – a peaceful calm tha

WEDNESDAY, JANUARY 19

TEXT: COLOSSIANS 2:6-10

TOPIC: ROOTED AND BUILT UP IN CHRIST

“So then, just as you received Christ Jesus as LORD, continue to live your lives in him, rooted and built up in him, strengthened in the faith as you were taught, and overflowing with thankfulness.” Colossians 2:6-7, NIV

Shadrack was a young vibrant Christian when he gained admission to school abroad for further studies. He returned home with strange doctrines and questionable behavior after his studies. He had been exposed to heresies and his sense of holiness has been compromised.

One major thing that is missing in the church today is discipleship. Many people still give their lives to Christ but only few are rooted and built up in Christ through discipleship. People are full of church activities but shallow in the knowledge of the Word of God. We have many confusions in the church because some are babies who have not taken enough spiritual nourishment (spiritually filled) to make them grow to maturity in faith.

Are you undergoing discipleship? Do you think you are being built up in Christ with the Word of God? Do not allow church/fellowship activities make you have false belief of spiritual maturity. Find avenue to go deeper in the Word of God and conform to the Word. Do not play with your spiritual maturity as you seek life transforming discipleship.

Insight: Let us go back to the old time practice of faith in thorough discipleship.

Prayer: Create in me O LORD the yearning, thirst and hunger for your Word so that I can grow in You daily.
