He was one of the very few Nigerians to be awarded a certificate in 'Understanding and Breaking the Chain of Coronavirus', the very first few months of the pandemic by the Muhammad Bin Rashid University of Medicine And Health Sciences, United Arab Emirates, and was later inducted in the #MBRUCommunityImmunity as an Ambassador. Due to the ravaging effect of coronavirus on the social gathering, Edikan identified the need to vested with the knowledge of marketing off-venue events, he enrolled and bagged a certificate in Marketing Virtual Events.
