PROCEDURE FOR CHANGE TO NATIONAL DIPLOMA PROGRAMMES

NOTE:
Interested candidates should first apply for a change to their preferred course/programme on JAMB Portal and thereafter apply for change to the same programme on the College Portal to enable them secure admission.

Applicants must have required JAMB subject combination and O’level subjects for the preferred programme of choice.

Requirements for National Diploma

Minimum of 150 JAMB Score

Minimum of 50% Post-UTME Aggregate Score

PROCEDURE FOR CHANGE TO B.SC (DEGREE) PROGRAMMES

Interested candidates for B.Sc (Education) programmes should also apply for change on JAMB Portal to Yabatech in Affiliation with University of Nigeria Nsukka. Thereafter, they should apply for change on the College Portal.

Requirements for B.Sc Educ. Degree Programmes:

1. Minimum of 160 JAMB Score

2. Minimum of 50% Post - UTMEAggregate Score

Change of Course application period is from Tuesday June 24, 2025 to Monday June 30, 2025. Deadline for Change of Course application is 11.59 pm on Monday June 30, 2025.

Yaba College of Technology has instituted the Folawiyo Lecture Series under the newly created Folawiyo Entrepreneurship Centre of the college.

Alhaji Chief (Dr.) Abdulwahab lyanda Folawiyo, OFR, CON, the founding father of the Folawiyo Business Conglomerates, was a Nigerian businessman, philanthropist and benefactor of the college.

The Centre, on behalf of the Governing Council, Academic Board, Management, Staff and students, is inviting the entire staff, students and public to its maiden lecture series, slated for Monday, June 16, 2025 as scheduled below:

FOLAWIYO ENTREPRENEURSHIP CENTRE MAIDEN BUSINESS IDEA COMPETITION

Participant Guidelines and Selection Process

1. Objective:

This competition is designed to encourage and support innovative business ideas from staff and students of Yaba College of Technology. It offers a platform to showcase entrepreneurial creativity, receive mentorship, and win cash prizes to support your startup journey.

2. Eligibility Criteria:

Must be a current staff or student of Yaba College of Technology.

Must submit a unique and original business idea.

Teams or individuals may apply (a team can have a maximum of 3 members).

3. Submission Guidelines:

Participants must:

Submit a detailed proposal in either Word or PDF format.
