Today is my birthday.

I’m grateful for life, for growth, and for the woman I am becoming.

This past year has taught me a lot about patience, discipline, resilience, and quiet progress. Not everything was loud or perfect, but I showed up, I learned, and I kept going.

I’ve realized that growth doesn’t always announce itself. Sometimes it looks like consistency, better decisions, healing, and choosing peace.

I’m stepping into this new year with more clarity, stronger boundaries, deeper faith, and bigger vision.

I may not be where I want to be yet, but I’m proud of how far I’ve come.

Here’s to more growth, more wins, more peace, and becoming everything I’m meant to be.

Happy birthday to me šŸ¤

Hey!! its Monday

5 Freelance Websites I Recommend for Beginnersā€
(Spoiler: These sites helped me go from ā€œCan I really do this?ā€ to ā€œYes, I just sent an invoice ")

When I first decided to start freelancing, I did what most people do:
I Googled ā€œHow to get freelance jobs with no experience.ā€

And BOOM—20 tabs opened
šŸ˜… ā€œWait… people are making money online just by offering services they’re already good at?ā€

So I took the leap.

Here are 5 websites that helped me start (and actually get clients)—with a sprinkle of trial, error, and a lot of refreshing inboxes šŸ‘‡

1. Upwork
The first platform I tried. And let me tell you, it felt like walking into a party where everyone already knew someone. But I stayed. I started small. Took on a tiny job. Nailed it. Got a review. And the rest is digital history.

Pro tip: Your first 1-2 clients matter more than perfection.

2. Fiverr
I created ā€œgigsā€ that showcased exactly what I could do. Wrote it like I was explaining it to my best friend.
And guess what? Clients actually found me. Magic.

Pro tip: Make your gig titles clear + spicy = more clicks.

3. Freelancer.com
A bidding platform. Think eBay, but for skills. I was nervous at first, but persistence won. I learned to pitch smart—not spammy.

Pro tip: Don’t just say ā€œI can do this.ā€ Say how you’ll do it better.

4. PeoplePerHour
This one felt like a hidden gem—especially great for writers, designers, and anyone with a creative edge.

Pro tip: Upload a clean portfolio. First impressions matter.

5. Toptal (for later)
Let’s just say, if Upwork and Fiverr are the high school of freelancing, Toptal is Harvard. Apply when you’ve got confidence + results to show.

Pro tip: Don’t rush. Toptal is for when you're ready to flex hard.

What I learned?
Pick one platform. Show up daily. Learn the ropes. Get feedback. Repeat.

I’ve walked this path—and now I get to support amazing clients around the world with virtual tasks, tech help, sales support, and admin magic ✨

If you’re starting out and need guidance—or if you need a reliable VA to support your team—slide into my DMs. I’m literally one message away.
