Primate Elijah Ayodele has predicted that the economic situation of Nigeria will get worse , to the point where fuel would sell for N250 per litre , and pure water will sell for N50.
The leader of INRI Evangelical Spiritual Church warned that the rate of inflation would rise astronomically.
He said five litres of groundnut oil would sell for N5,000 , a measure of Garri would sell for N1,500 , and cement would sell between N5,500 to N6,000.
In a statement signed by his spokesman , Oluwatosin Osho , Ayodele said the situation in the country was getting to a point where the police and Army would go on strike because the government would not be able to pay their salaries.
He said : " Our economy is in serious shambles ; it will get to a point where the police and Army will go on strike because of payment.
There will be inflation in the country , and pure water will sell for N50 , local rice will sell for N30,000 , five litres of groundnut oil will sell for N5,000 , there will be no N200 bread , Congo of garri will sell for N1500 , with N1,000 you won't be able to feed yourself , cement will sell between N5,500 - N6,000 , minerals will sell for N200 , Petrol is still going to N250 / Litre.
Nothing is coming out of this government anymore ; it is confusing and will affect the rich and poor , and even banks will fold up and forcefully retire some of their staffers . With this economy , hard times await private sectors, multimedia companies will began to shut down.

The airline has reportedly closed its inventory , meaning travel agents would not be able to issue fresh tickets for their clients , but individuals can buy tickets only online , only in dollars .

Operatives of the Enugu State Police Command have arrested three women for alleged conspiracy , trafficking of newborn twins and murder of the babies ' mother.
The suspects , Ukorie Cynthia , Onyia Pauline , and Aroh ljeoma , were arraigned in court and remanded in Enugu Correctional Custodial Centre . Spokesperson of the command , DSP Daniel Ndukwe , who disclosed this in a statement on Friday , August 26 , said the suspects conspired and sold the newborn twins for N3m and gave the mother , Chinenye Odoh , the sum of N1.8m.
According to the PPRO , when she discovered that her babies were sold for N3m , contrary to the amount ( N2,350,000.00 ) she was told , Odoh demanded for the balance . The prime suspect , Ukorie Cynthia allegedly gave Odoh suspected poisoned corn leading to her death.
Following the consolidation and conclusion of investigations into a case of conspiracy , children trafficking and murder , the State Criminal Intelligence and Investigation Department of Enugu State Police Command has today , 26/08/2022 , arraigned in court , one Ukorie Cynthia aged 25 , Onyia Pauline aged 56 and Aroh Ijeoma aged 39 , all residing in Enugu , " he statement read.
" The suspects , who were arrested on 26/07/2022 , by Police Operatives serving in Central Police Station ( CPS ) Enugu , were remanded in Enugu Correctional Custodial Centre , pending further hearing of the case Their arrest was sequel to the receipt of a report alleging that they conspired and sold the newborn twins of one Chinenye Odoh aged 31 , and thereafter caused her death by poisoning her food , when she realized that the suspects gave her an amount lesser than the total sum they sold the babies.
Investigations revealed that Ukorie Cynthia accommodated the deceased in her house till she put to birth on 05/07/2022 , while Aroh Ijeoma facilitated the sale of the babies by contacting Onyia Pauline , a Nurse , who brought a couple that bought the babies upon their birth at the sum of three million naira ( N3,000,000.00 )
That contrary to this sum , ljeoma informed the deceased and mother of the babies , Chinenye , that the children were sold for two million , three hundred and fifty thousand naira.
