It's a mat...
It's a cap...
No it's a bag!

Here's a brief story about this 'mini bag'...
From the outset, I wanted to make a bag. Once I got the idea, I did a quick sketch of what I wanted. As I advanced in the project, it assumed different forms. From a mat, to a cap then to a flower verse (from my brother's perspective). As much as those forms were cute and pretty if they were left that way, I wouldn't have achieved my goal (which was a bag). I had an end in mind so I continued regardless till I had what I intended.
However, there are sometimes what we initially intended isn't really the best form a project can assume. So as we advance, we alter the form to the best.
Like this piece of art, some well meaning people would think you a cute mat, or a well fitting cap. You might even think yourself such too but you're not accomplished if you aren't a beautifully crafted bag... hehehe.
As I completed the project, I also discovered I could alter the shape to suit it best for the occasion.

Unveiling a bag collection: Àsà

Yayyyy!!!

We've called this collection Àsà (a Yoruba word meaning culture).
(We carefully selected Nigerian Ankara prints to go with the crochet designs)
The Àsà bag comes in handy for casual outings. It's totally a must have for students (yeah I said it). So are you a student or you know one? Then you should get one! It comes in handy for beach outings or maybe you just wanna do movies or hang out with a friend. You definitely should have one! (I said it again!!). It also passes for a grocery bag or a sleep over bag.
So yeah, you could call it a multipurpose bag.
