It’s funny how many people are striving for mastery at different things without first taking time to determine with clarity, why you are doing the stuff.

The more I grow, the clearer it becomes to me that the major reason why people are living haphazardly and so easy to be tossed to and fro by things that are flying about online is because they don’t have the clarity of their purpose.

When you don’t know where you’re going, everywhere looks like your bus stop.

Until you discover purpose, you won’t know where to go and where not to go. You won’t know what to do and what not to do. You’ll not be able to focus your life in a direction.

To make your highest contribution to life, you need to first discover your purpose.

Your purpose will guide you to the course you study. It will guide you to the skills to learn. It will guide you to the friends and circles to keep. It will guide you to the jobs you can do.

Below are a few tips to help you discover your purpose:

Go to your creator!

No one can best tell you your purpose like God can. God didn’t create you and started thinking about what you’ll do. He determined your purpose, then He designed and created you to be able to fulfill that purpose. Jer 1:5

Embrace yourself

Many of us don’t embrace ourselves. We despise a lot of things about ourselves because someone else has said something against it. Understand that everything about you was intentionally put there by God for the fulfillment of your purpose. Every skill, temperament, passion, emotion, and everything about you was intentional. When you discover your purpose they’ll make sense.

Grow

In my opinion, one of the major reasons why people don’t discover their purpose is because they don’t commit themselves to growth and personal development. Your purpose is deep within, so when you give yourself to growth and personal development, you’ll start to see that there’s a particular area that interests you more than any other, and then you tilt toward it.

If you follow these steps, you can’t but arrive at purpose and lead a fulfilled life.
