Never ignore an invitation from the EFCC or the Police, even if you feel innocent.

Today, Okoro Blessing Nkiruka, popularly known as Blessing CEO, was arraigned in court over allegations of obtaining money under false pretence. This should serve as a lesson to everyone that social media fame, influence, or popularity cannot stop legal prosecution when a petition is involved.

Many people joke with police invitations until they become wanted or end up in court. Once a petition is written against you, the matter can become very serious.

In Nigeria today, one thing is very important — always have a good lawyer on standby. Prevention is better than emergency defense.
