*Happy New Year to you*
Hi there,
Let’s go back to the basics.
This is how to get the results you desire.
1. *Identify the result. Be very clear about it.*
Do not lump many results together into one goal.
Be as clear as you can about the exact result you want.
2. *Count the cost*
The reason why you haven’t gotten the result yet is because something is still missing.
It may be resources…
It may be work and time…
It may be people that you need…
But there is always a cost.
If you had everything you needed and you’ve done everything there is to do, you should have the result already.
3. *Make a plan*
This should be broken down to bits and pieces.
Allocate a specific amount of time to each step of the plan
The plan should be majorly action points, not words of affirmation.
Be direct, be clear, and be sincere about the work you need to do.
4. *Take action*
Not just any kind of action, but INTENSE and CONSISTENT action.
It is no more just by taking action… No.
The level at which you execute must be high enough…
The consistency with which you execute must not waiver in the face of frustration and emotional ups and downs.
Principles do not care about your emotions.
5. *Measure and repeat*
Have a system for measuring the outcomes you are getting.
Keep yourself accountable at all times.
Analyse your current results and how far you are from the targets…
Number your days.
Sounds simple?
Sounds like something you’ve heard before?
Probably yes…
But in this simplicity are the results you seek.
Will you do it or you’ll wait for something “deeper”?
Day 1 of 365 is almost gone.
Your Day 1 is the day you start.
