Brand Identity for Òtúbánjọy Hometel

Òtúbánjọy Hometel is a new kind of hospitality experience that blends refined living with cultural soul. Rooted in Lagos and built to expand across Africa, it’s more than a place to stay. It’s a hotel that feels like home. It doesn’t just offer a place to rest; it provides a space to reconnect, breathe deeply, be seen, and feel rooted, even while on the move.

I found this 3D design I worked on some time ago, and honestly, it made me smile. I had just started learning how to render with Twinmotion at the time, so I modeled it in SketchUp and gave rendering a shot—even though I didn’t fully know what I was doing yet.

It wasn’t about perfection back then; it was about curiosity. I remember the excitement of seeing an idea in my head slowly come alive on my screen, even with the little mistakes here and there.

Looking back now, I see growth, but more importantly, I see the spark that pushed me to keep learning. And that spark is still here.
