Morounmubo felt disappointed but it never stopped her from eating, quickly her conscience was cleared; she joined her parent on the well furnished dinning table. Suddenly she prompted a gist that will likely distort the greatness of her generation.

She has two Uncles that visit at intervals, Uncle Alabi is a jovial person, always happy but had a bad intention, he is addicted to po*******hy which is only known by his sister, Morounmubo's Mother.

Uncle Peter who seems to be the puritan condole not the bad character that glorified Morounmubo's beauty, so he is so blunt that they had to change him from teaching the children's class in Church. His lifestyle can be likened by the Adult. Uncle Peter is the younger brother to Morounmubo's Father.

Behind the scene Morounmubo prefer Uncle Alabi to Uncle Peter. "Mummy why is that it is only Uncle Peter that use to pay us a visit?",

What manner of question is that? He is your Uncle and he is part of the family; Mum! What of Uncle Alabi, is he not part of the family too?

It was Uncle Peter, Morounmubo could not fake her disgust, it was so obvious that Uncle Peter was a big threat to her; Uncle Peter's smile seems feign to her. Shortly after she greeted him, Morounmubo's Parent presented a warmth welcome to Uncle Peter through the exchange of pleasantries.

On a faithful morning Uncle Alabi came to the house around 6am to pack his luggages, he was seriously not okay physically and mentally, my Mum had to calm his nerves for him to narrate what happened. My Sister, I am so sorry for disappointing you please forgive me, I r***d a lady that reside down the street, her Father threatened to kill me. I have to go now. Why did you have to do that? Now your pleasure hunts for your soul.

Morounmubo's Mum had tried every means to lay her brother off the house but the set time came and the hunter has been hunted. "Thank God my daughter did not fall victim of his craziness" she clamoured, finally he is gone.

Her Father was having conversation with his brother inside the Visitor's room, the short drama that surfaced did not reach their territory, inside was calm and discussion on how to cater for her Father's family welfare was on. She has realized her mistake.

Uncle Peter is married with two kids but due to the nature of his job he spend the night with his elder brother (Morounmubo's father) to save cost and leave on Fridays to cheer with his family through out the Weekend. Morounmubo thought for a while, reconsidered her actions, amended her ways for the journey of reconciliation is far but it must begin with a step.

In the absence of mixed reaction burnt skin that disfigured Uncle Peter's appearance was as a result for her rescue from an unexpected inferno which made her build a strong intimacy with him till this day. THE END. ||Akinkunmi AKINBODE||

THE MIND OF A JESTER

There has been an ongoing joke around this so called relationship, it has been termed breakfast to the extent that it is becoming normal on our every moment to-do-list even at the point of one losing his mental health. According to my observation so many don’t believe that there is sweetness when two people come together. We have so much created the niche that "Men are Scum" and "Ladies are Scam". The truth of the matter is that everything that was recreated by Man do not last.

We stand a chance to be responsible and gaze our sight to something bigger than our expectation, we have seems to forget so soon that emotions and affections has limitation. The myth about a Jester is that he maximizes every resource to make people laugh irrespective of the circumstances that might pull him down.

It is a total scrap to think that you can survive without intimacy, we are designed to find connection and dwell with it; That is what a Jester does he walk his way out, so also is the principle that governs marriage.

We were nutured with this mentality that having feelings is bad, expression of feelings might not be a path way to a relationship but can serve as relief to oneself.

The solution to this is to ask yourself why you want to go into a relationship because it takes a strong mind, healthy mentality, commitment, communication and God’s instruction to proceed.

When we were young we were so excited to eat the breakfast that develops and summed up our growth but now that we are advanced in age we are scared to recieve the breakfast that will either make or mar us.
