WHY BUILDINGS SINK.
One of the major reasons why buildings sink is due to wrong FOUNDATION.
For example If you are building on a soil that is filled with humus content, like GBAGADA over time the soil will begin to drop in level( what some will call settling down)😉 and building will begin to SINK, so don't get deceived with the fact that the surface looks dry, carry out a soil test and do a proper PILING FOUNDATION..
