Let me break down corruption for you with a simple example.

The first picture shows Guangzhou Nansha Port in China. It’s not even one of China’s biggest ports, yet look at the numbers:

📦 Handles about 24 million containers every year
👷‍♂️ Created roughly 100,000 jobs
🏗 Cost around $8 billion to build

Now, follow this carefully:

💰 $8 billion is not small money.
If a reckless Nigerian spent ₦10,000,000 (ten million naira) every single day, it would take them:

⏳ 3,155 years and 201 days to finish spending $8 billion.

Just $8 billion o.

Now shift your eyes to the right:
There is Godwin Emefiele, former CBN Governor, currently on trial for allegedly mismanaging $26.37 billion.

Read that again: $26.37 BILLION.

And please note, that is just the money that was allegedly discovered.
How about the ones that were not seen?
How many ports, refineries, rail lines, power plants, and industries could have been built with that kind of money?

🧠 Think About It:
China used $8B to build a port that supports its economy.
Nigeria allegedly lost over three times that amount, and we can’t point to anything.

Our problem has never been lack of money.
Our problem is what money turns into once it enters the hands of the wrong people.
