How to pay your bills with music 🤔😊

It all begins with having a Passion for an instrument and then taking a step to know more about it. One of the instruments I always encourage people to learn is the piano.

The piano is the mother of all instruments it gives you the foundation for all other instruments name it.

Another proactive step is having the desire for mastery. Having passion is not enough but long to know more about that instrument and professionalize.

Playing is not enough, if you haven't played your instrument to the extent of being able to teach it to someone else, then you have not started.

Next is building a community of friends, family, associates and colleagues who love music and contributing meaningfully to that community. It could be a church, a band, a school e.t.c from there you gain momentum and it becomes a leverage to your next level of gaining fame because from there you'll get referalls and the magic is that nothing markets you better than a referal, someone tasted something good and decides to let others taste it. That's so sweet 😉

You then build consistency by staying put to that one instrument and systems at some point would start longing for you like SMJ, Master Craft, Ajl and others.

Professionalism might have hit you at this point and what follows is people longing to see what you can do and they're ready to pay to see you play and just have fun.

Remember my first point? Your bills are already getting paid already. This is how you pay your bills as a musician with your musical instrument.

Keep at it, if you were about to give up on learning that musical Instrument, I think you can take a U turn now and keep pushing.
