VACANCY FOR HR MANAGER
We are a manufacturing company based out of Asaba and in the business of manufacturing of rolled bar,
pipes and associated steel products. The company employs close to 500 people in various roles on full
time or contractual basis.
The key role for the HR manager would be
 Implement the HR policies of the company.
 Implement the HRIS system in the company.
 Managing the attendance system
 Supervise the pay roll
 Interact with the various contractors for daily wage workers and keep a record of the same.
 Identifying and onboarding of new talent, including interviews, background checks etc
 Supervise the leave and advance process.
 Work on the safety and health of the workers
 Ensure that the safety parameters are defined and followed by all in the company.
 Create a culture of productivity and commitment to the company
 Appraisal system implementation.
 Reaching out to the various technical institutes and partner for talent acquisitions.
 Implement apprenticeship program.
 Maintain a pool of talent for the organisation
 Supervise the statutory fulfilment related to the workers.
The person would be reporting to the CFO of the company.
Preferred background
This is a senior role in the organisation and the person is expected to be familiar with the local laws and
practices. The person should have
 At least 6-8 years of experiences, out of which at least 2 years in a managerial role.
 Should have the academic background of HR.
 Should have worked in a manufacturing environment in the past.
 Should have working knowledge of Microsoft office specially Excel.
 Should have good command on written and oral language.
