Born Oluwadamilare was born in Zaria, Kaduna State. He grew up in Mushin and Ajegunle, and studied insurance before dropping out of school due to financial challenges.In February 2006, at a chance meeting in the town of Ibadan, Durella met executives from Tc-Records while performing at a fashion show. He signed a deal a week later.
He ascribed his stage name "Durella" by saying "the street" gave it to him. Originally his nickname was Durel, but this was later changed to Durella. While he was known as Durel, he was an R&B artist.
He is known for his hit singles, "Enu Ose", "Shayo", "Wizkolo Wiska", "Club Rock" and "GaGa" featuring Wizkid. He appeared on songs with stars such as Dbanj, Femi Kuti, Duncan Mighty, Terry G, Olamide, and Dammy Krane, and performed live with Wyclef Jean in South Africa. In 2008 Durella was awarded "MTV Base Advance Warning Artist" of the year. He is the first Nigerian artist to own a shoe line: Durella Sneakers, named after his popular slogan "2Gbaski". His debut album King Of The Zanga brought him fame, he's often mistaken for colleague and superstar DBanj because of similarity in their voice.

Man Weds Wife & Her Mother Same Day

You see this man here, he allegedly married his mother-in-law and his wife on the same day. Are you confused? Okay, let me try and break down the story as I understand it..Vashko Sande, a Zimbabwean, was married to his wife and they had three children but fell in love with her mother, his mother -in- Law. The story alleges that after falling in love with his wife's mother, he allegedly became abusive towards her (his wife). Anyway, after taking so much physical and emotional abuse, his wife went to court. The Legend, I mean, Mr Vashko Sande admitted to all wrong doings and told the court he would be of good behavior if he married both women. His wish was granted by the Magistrate. Therefore, Mr Sande, has created history which qualifies him for a space in the book of Guinness Book of World Records. He re-wedded his wife and married his mother-in-law the same day at the same wedding ceremony in same venue by same law, giving them identical rings. 😄 - Moji Danisa Files.
