“I don’t understand my wife’s actions towards my mother. Should I take a break from our marriage to think better?

I am a young man, 30 years old, married for 1 year. A few months after our marriage, my mother living alone since her divôrce from my father, came to live with us. My wife began controlling my mother and causing her misplaced jealoûsy.

when I bring my mother to a restaurant she gets angry, my mother can't wash my clothes without her getting angry, as soon as I buy something for my mother, she asks the same thing. She refuses to let my mother come into our room.
