OPTOMETRYMAILS AT FOUR: A LEGACY BORN FROM VISION

In March 2022, as the world gradually emerged from the shadows of the COVID-19 pandemic, a new light was kindled within the optometry community, through the insight and leadership of Dr. Sunkanmi Arogbokun.

It was a vision not merely to communicate and exchange ideas, but to build a platform that would transcend limitations, a platform where learning, mentorship, and collaboration could flourish. From this vision, Optometrymails was born.

At its foundation stood six other remarkable individuals: the pioneer members who embraced the vision at its infancy, nurtured it through conviction, and established the pillars upon which the platform now stands.

Today, we celebrate not just the passage of time, but the impact of a shared vision brought to life through dedication and sacrifice.

As Optometrymails marks its fourth anniversary, we honour the past, appreciate the present, and look forward to a future filled with even greater achievements.
