I remember asking an Omani brother who resides in Medina that I met

"what's the best thing about living in Madinah?"

And he said to me "I always say there are no silly questions my brother but that right there is a silly question" I

persisted and still asked him to indulge my silly question. And he laughed and said "isn't it obvious? If you and I do Salah anywhere else, then we get one ajr (reward) of that prayer. And what is the ajr of praying in the city and mosque of the Rasoolullah? X1000! That to me is answer enough and why your question is silly😂😂" we both laughed and said the salawat upon our beloved prophet sallalahu Alaihi wa sallam

Praying in Masjid al-Nabawi (the Prophet’s Mosque) in Madinah carries immense reward, specifically equal to 1,000 prayers performed in any other mosque, excluding Masjid al-Haram in Makkah which is 100,000 times better
