Over 1,500 APC Support Groups Endorse Sen. Yari’s Renewed Hope Network TRN

More than 1,500 registered support groups of the All Progressives Congress (APC) have endorsed the Renewed Hope Network (TRN) as a Special Purpose Vehicle established to galvanise robust, broad-based grassroots mobilisation for the re-election of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu in the 2027 presidential election.

The Independent Mirror reports that, in a statement signed in Abuja, the Deputy Director-General of the APC Support Groups Council, Dr. AK Peters, said the endorsement followed a strategic meeting with the technical team of the TRN.

The team was led by a seasoned APC mobiliser and former Senior Special Assistant to the APC National Chairman on Civil Society and Support Groups, Comrade Okpokwu Ogenyi, alongside Prof. Tunji John Asaolu, an international diplomat of high repute.

Peters also expressed confidence in the growing nationwide momentum of the TRN.

The Renewed Hope Network is powered by the former Governor of Zamfara State and Senator representing Zamfara West Senatorial District, Distinguished Senator Abdulaziz Yari, as a major platform for grassroots mobilisation ahead of the 2027 presidential election.

As part of its early strategic activities, the TRN has commenced the mobilisation of polling unit canvassers across the country, laying the groundwork for effective grassroots engagement ahead of the January 16, 2027 presidential election.

Peters described the level of acceptability of the TRN among Nigerians as unprecedented, noting that the APC Support Groups Council could not be left out.

According to him, the network has already put in place a comprehensive structure and strategy aimed at ensuring a resounding victory for President Tinubu in 2027.

“The TRN is committed to building the most formidable grassroots political movement in support of Mr President within a short time, while expanding its network across every corner of the country. In the APC, we have over 3,500 registered support groups, out of which 1,500 have approved partnership with the Renewed Hope Network.

“We are confident that another 2,000 groups will join the network between now and Easter,” Peters stated.

He emphasised that the quality of leadership being provided by Senator Abdulaziz Yari makes the Renewed Hope Network a strong platform for grassroots mobilisation across the country.

Peters reiterated that no effort would be spared in mobilising Nigerians to ensure that President Bola Ahmed Tinubu is sworn in for a second term on May 29, 2027.

Meanwhile, Nigerians await the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) to lift the ban on political campaigns ahead of the 2027 general election.
