Ankpa L.G. Chairman Donates Brand New Patrol Motorcycles, Mattresses, Bullet Proof, Other Security Apparatuses To Boost Security In Ikah District.

As part of measures to boost the security architecture in Ankpa Local Government, the Executive Chairman of Ankpa Local Government Council, Hon. Engr. Adamu Muhammed Yahaya, has on Friday, 21st November, 2025 handed over three brand new motorcycles for patrol, mattresses, security touch, jerrycans, bathing buckets, and bullet proof to the newly created joint task force team mandated to bring to a sheer halt, the perceived security menace in Ikah community and the neighbouring villages.

Donating, Engineer Adamu assured the security team of the government’s relentless efforts in supplying adequate patrol vehicles within the shortest time, urging them to be highly vigilant within the community of particular concern, its environs and the area by and large.

The Council Boss also implored the team to sustain a 24-hour patrol on Ikah road, as well as the border between Ikah community and Benue state, should any unforeseen.

Notably, for optimal panacea, reasonable cash was also made available for their proper upkeep, with high assurances of un-compromised government support.

‘No government receives commendation without prioritizing the security of life and properties of its people. Just like the good foundation of the Chief Servant of Kogi State, H.E. Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo, I will continue to sustain a guaranteed security measure for the good people of Ankpa Local Government amongst other things expected of me,’ Engr. Adamu assured.
