🧤 Paul Scholes on Why Manchester United Might Struggle to Sell Goalkeeper André Onana 🧤

Manchester United legend Paul Scholes recently opened up about the club’s goalkeeper situation in a video chat with fans. While some supporters are frustrated with Onana’s mistakes, Scholes reminds us that the young keeper is still developing and has potential.

He pointed out that Onana was brilliant for Inter Milan before joining United but has faced a tough couple of seasons. Scholes emphasized the importance of patience and hopes Onana can regain his best form soon. After all, good goalkeepers are hard to find and replace.

Scholes also mentioned that with United’s current budget, it might be wiser to back Onana rather than splashing cash on a new goalkeeper. The focus, he said, should be on strengthening other areas of the squad.

What do you think? Should Manchester United keep faith in Onana or look elsewhere between the sticks? âš½??

Chelsea to Pay £5m To Man. United as Jadon Sancho Departs After Loan Deal Breaks Down

Jadon Sancho will officially leave Chelsea at the end of June after the club failed to reach an agreement with the Manchester United winger over personal terms, according to a report by David Ornstein of The Athletic.

The England international had been on loan at Chelsea for the 2024/2025 season but will return to Manchester United before pursuing a permanent move elsewhere.

Chelsea are now set to pay a £5 million penalty to Manchester United as part of the loan agreement that included a purchase option. The two clubs were reportedly open to making the transfer permanent, but talks broke down over Sancho’s personal demands.

Sancho, 25, had a productive spell at Stamford Bridge during the 2024/2025 campaign, featuring in 42 matches across all competitions and playing a total of 2,425 minutes.

He scored 5 goals and provided 8 assists in all competitions. In the Premier League alone, he made 26 appearances and scored 5 goals. Notably, Sancho had an impressive run in the UEFA Europa Conference League, netting 5 goals in just 5 appearances, while also featuring twice in the FA Cup.

Despite his contributions, Chelsea opted not to trigger a permanent deal, and the winger will now evaluate his next move. Sancho is expected to explore options in both England and across Europe, with several top-tier clubs reportedly monitoring his situation.

The winger’s time at Chelsea marked a notable resurgence following a difficult period at Manchester United, where he had been sidelined under Erik ten Hag. The loan spell was seen as an opportunity to revive his career, and he did manage to restore some of his form and confidence.
