The Age of Mastery 

“Teach us to number our days, that we may gain a heart of wisdom.” 

Psalms 90:12 NIV

“The Lord has laid a plumb line in my hands to set in order the things that are out of place, He is making me a wise master builder, who builds according to the patterns as contained in His will.”

I will sit down one of these days to recount the faithfulness of God through the seasons of my life leading to this very moment. 

I, like every other person, have had seasons of wandering, where life wasn't adding up and the question, “Is there any meaning to all these?” was the main contemplation of the season.

It was in those moments that I actually made progress, in asking questions, I found clarity. The scripture is true; “Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you.” 

With every season of questioning came better clarity… but, you see, the beauty of it all is not only in the fact that I was finding clarity it is also about the person I have been becoming and the impact that my life was also having on others in the process.

I am grateful for all the seasons of my life…

As I commence a new phase that comes with the significance of becoming a wise master teacher.

Help me LORD to do all that which you have placed in my heart. 

Show me the way to walk in... I desire to be a man after God's own heart. 

I know there is still a lot to learn and a lot of prices to be paid. 

Help me LORD to stay true to the course,

To keep the right friends that will help me grow. 

To be a light in the dark, 

To be obedient to the Voice that spoke all things into being. 

I will, by the grace of God live now fully making my days to count as it is written concerning me in the volume of the books.

Prayer is only prayer when it is done on the understanding of the principles of God as spelled out in scripture.

A lot of the shouting we do and the screaming and the waking up of our neighbors is not necessarily prayers.

Prayer is understanding God's will and communicating with God to see his will come to pass. It also entails providing God with a vessel to use for the accomplishment of his will on the Earth.

A lot of people in our generation claim to be praying their whole life but not see anything tangible happen because they were exerting energy but not exactly aligning with the protocol of what real prayer should be.
