The Phos

This life of Christ can't be faked - it's the overflow of what's within that touches others. Let's keep investing in our hearts, feeding on God's Word, and soaking in His presence. There's always more to discover in God. For myself, for us, let's pursue this life of God in all its fullness so that from the abundance within, others can encounter it.

Life is in phases, and most times, between the end of a phase and the beginning of another, there is usually an unusual pressure. There might be a lot of uncertainties. You might want to avoid the question of "what next?" but it lingers. You might have a picture of where you want to be, yet feel confused about how to get there. You might feel insufficient at some point, needing a lot of encouragement, which might seem scarce.

My dear, just hold on and stay close to God (your maker) in that season. He knows the next thing you need to do, so trust Him as He leads you. Avoid trying to prove a point to everyone and keep taking a step at a time. I know you feel like being able to do everything at once, but calm down.

Find rest in God, and you'll know what to do next. You might not have it all figured out, but you can rest on the assurance that you have a Father who is ready and able to lead you through the very best path of life.

As He said in Psalm 32:8, "I will guide you along the best pathway for your life. I will advise you and watch over you" (NLT).

May the peace of Christ Jesus fill your heart and give you rest.

Adult first daughters of many families usually have the experience of not allowing their mother's clothes and shoes to rest because they wear about the same size as their mother's. They get to enjoy the fun of using their mother's things to the fullest. However, my case is different. My smallish body has not allowed me to wear my mum's clothes and shoes. I would see a shoe I like, but once I put my leg into it, it's oversized.

Just as my mum's body size and mine are different, our journey in life differs from that of our parents. Just because your mum and dad are ministers of God and are doing great things for God does not guarantee your salvation. Also, just because some things were difficult for your parent to achieve doesn't mean you cannot achieve it.

My dear, know God for yourself. This is the way to figure out who you are and walk in your path in life. God made you a masterpiece, so staying close to Him and building a relationship with Him will help you discover His intent for your life. The only thing that can make you fulfilled and satisfied in life is being on your path and fulfilling your purpose.
