A senior Iranian official spoke to Reuters under conditions of anonymity, said:

"This time we will treat any American attack limited, unlimited, surgical, kinetic, whatever they call it, as an all-out war against us, and we will respond in the hardest way possible to settle this.

A country under constant military threat from the United States has no option but to ensure that everything at its disposal can be used to push back and restore balance against anyone who dares to attack Iran."

Kano State Governor, Abba Kabir Yusuf, has formally resigned his membership of the New Nigeria Peoples Party (NNPP), along with 73 elected officials from the state. The elected officials comprise 44 local government chairmen, 21 members of the State House of Assembly, and 8 members of the House of Representatives. The governor is yet to announce his next political platform.
