Know the value of what you sell.
Last week, someone sent me a message on WhatsApp, she wanted to buy Garnier hydralock lotion. She asked for the price, I told her it was #15,000. I sent her our catalogue. She replied she wasn't going to pay the amount on the catalogue. I must give her a discount or I pay for the delivery fees. I calmly told her I was a retailer not a distributor. She said she knows she could get it cheaper elsewhere. Okay please get it elsewhere then. I replied. She then said I was rude, i was meant to beg her. Didn't I know the customer is King? I said Madam I don't need to beg and convince you to buy from me. I try to bring the best and people go for the best. I bring my products directly from the source that way I know it's not an imitation. She kept on ranting and I left her on read messages with no reply.
Two days ago, she placed her order of two hydralock lotion and face scrubs.
She said she thought I was going to give her a discount if she ghosted me. I told her I sell the best products.
Always know the value of what you sell. The customer is King, if the crown fits. A King shouldn't drag prices with you. I come in peace.
