Those days when mum would ask me to cook 5 cups of rice, i will add 2 more cups.

After dishing, there would still be leftover.

My mum will now keep saying “ but this rice swells well oh”.
Me too i will now say “It swells so much,very good rice.”

One day my mum cooked rice herself, 5cups as usual. Rice did not swell up to the ones i cook.

Mum: But why is it that it is only when you cook rice it doubles up? 🙄
