BREAKING: Former SGF Babachir Lawal has announced his resignation from the ADC following Atiku Abubakar's emergence as the party's presidential candidate, saying Tinubu would be a better president than the former vice president.
Lawal said the ADC presidential primary results were written to favour Atiku and insisted he won't be part of the former vice president's rigging machine in the 2027 presidential election.
He added that Atiku is incompetent and a tribal, religious bigot who shouldn't come close to the presidential office.

A delegation sent by President Tinubu to Oyo State has arrived in Ogbomoso en route to the villages of Esiele and Yawota in Oriire LGA, where armed men raided three schools, abducting about 46 pupils and teachers.
The delegation includes NSA Nuhu Ribadu, President Tinubu's CoS Femi Gbajabiamila, IGP Tunji Disu, Defence Minister Christopher Musa, Minister of Power Joseph Tegbe and Presidential media aide Sunday Dare.

BREAKING: Kwara State Polytechnic Rector Reinstated
The Rector of Kwara State Polytechnic, Ilorin, Engr. Dr. Abdul Jimoh Mohammed, has been reinstated to office following the approval of the Kwara State Government.
Recall that the public announcement of his suspension was made on Wednesday, January 21, 2026. After spending over four months away from office, the Rector has now been directed to resume his duties at the institution.
The reinstatement comes after the state government concluded its review of the matter and subsequently cleared him to return to office.
